Does Insurance Cover CBD Oil?

Currently, insurance companies do not cover CBD products or other nutritional supplements.

At Pure Relief, we don’t want anyone to be turned away because of their inability to pay.

Because insurance doesn’t cover Pure Relief products, we offer several Price Relief® options designed to aid individuals and families who wish to incorporate CBD into their routine but are unable to justify paying our full-retail-price.

We offer three different options based on your unique needs.

Pure Relief Veterans’ Price Relief®

If you are a veteran of the US Armed Forces, you risked your life and liberty for the sake of your country.

To show our appreciation, all veterans and active duty service personnel are eligible for our Price Relief discount of 20% off all full-retail-price items in our online store.

To prove eligibility, please choose the Military Discount option upon checkout.

  • This will prompt you to create an account with ID Discount, a third party application that verifies uploads of any of the following items:
    • Email ending in .mil
    • Official Military ID or Veterans Affairs ID
    • DD-214 Certificate of Release/Discharge (please cover your SSN)
    • Promotion Certificate or Award Certificate
    • Veterans Affairs postal letters
    • Driver’s License showing VA endorsement (requires visit to DMV to add to license)
    • G.I. Bill documents

Pure Relief Long-Term Disability Price Relief®

Individuals with long-term disabilities have unique needs that most people aren’t aware of.

To help make ends meet, individuals receiving disability benefits are eligible for our Price Relief discount of 20% off all full-retail-price items in our online store.

To Prove eligibility, please provide a copy of correspondence demonstrating receipt of benefits between yourself and one of the following governmental entities:

  • Social Security disability insurance (SSDI)
  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI)

Will Medicaid pay for CBD oil?

Unfortunately, Medicaid does not yet cover CBD products at this time. However, if you receive Medicaid benefits, then you qualify for our Price Relief discount.

Pure Relief Low Income Price Relief

CBD is for everyone, and we want everyone to be able to experience Pure Relief, regardless of income.

Individuals and households at or below the federal poverty level are eligible for our Price Relief discount of 20% off all full-retail-price items in our online store.

To Prove eligibility, please provide a copy of correspondence demonstrating receipt of benefits between yourself and one of the following governmental entities:

  • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
  • Medicaid
  • (Note: Medicaid will NOT pay for your purchase. It simply qualifies you for our Price Relief discount.)
  • Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP)
  • (Note: CHIP will NOT pay for your purchase. It simply qualifies you for our Price Relief discount.)
  • Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
  • Welfare or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)

To apply for our Long-Term Disability or Low-Income Price Relief options, please send an email to [email protected] with relevant documentation attached. No Subject or Body text required.

  • A clearly legible photograph or digital scan of the ENTIRE document is required to become eligible.
  • Please allow 7-10 days for your application to be processed.
  • If approved, you will receive an email with a custom lifetime discount code for 20% off of all full-retail-price items in our online store.
  • Please limit the use of your code to yourself and your immediate family members only.

At Pure Relief, no one is turned away because of their inability to pay.
